- Check mulch, damp soil, and under stones or debris near the foundation — pillbugs (roly polies) need consistent moisture.
- Reduce moisture and clear mulch or debris away from the foundation.
- Seal gaps at the foundation and around doors to reduce indoor wandering.
- Apply a residual perimeter treatment if they're a persistent problem.
- These are generally harmless and often resolve on their own once moisture and harborage are addressed.
Wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, closed-toe shoes with socks, chemical-resistant gloves, and goggles. Add a respirator if the label calls for it or ventilation is poor.
